Appeals court rejects Neosho man's effort to overturn convictions for sodomy, child molestation

The Southern District Court of Appeals today affirmed a Neosho man's conviction on sodomy and child molestation charges involving two of his daughter's friends, aged 12 and 13.

Christopher Creviston, 38, was found guilty by a McDonald County jury on a change of venue from Newton County in April 2023 and was sentenced to 25 years and 10 years on the counts with the sentences to run concurrently.

Creviston's crimes took place in 2018.

The jury found Creviston not guilty on four other counts.
