Barack Obama made it five wins in five contests over the weekend today, defeating Hillary Clinton in the Maine caucuses.
The win followed a Saturday in which Obama won in Washington, Nebraska, Louisiana, and the Virgin Islands (where he beat Mrs. Clinton 90 percent to eight percent).
In the aftermath of this weekend's stunning blows, word surfaced today that Mrs. Clinton's campaign manager had stepped down.
The next challenges for Obama and Mrs. Clinton are primaries in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D. C. Tuesday.
