Koster grabs the lead in attorney general race
The playing field has quickly changed in the race for the Democratic nomination for attorney general, with Sen. Chris Koster, Harrisonville, grabbing the lead with 8,412 votes, 33.9 percent, to 7,234, 29.2 for Margaret Donnelly, and 6,919, 27.9 percent, for Jeff Harris. The fourth candidate, Molly Williams, who did very little campaigning, has 2,230 votes or nine percent. A total of 5.3 percent of precincts have reported, with no votes from southwest Missouri at the moment.
