Missouri Political News notes that Democratic attorney general candidate Molly Wiliams, who finished fourth in the race, never raised a cent and never made a speech in favor of her candidacy.
Despite that, Ms. Williams finished with 6.7 percent of the vote. The lawyer was widely considered to be a stalking horse set up by eventual winner Chris Koster to take votes away from Margaret Donnelly, who lost by two-tenths of one percent.
