I'm still hoping to get out. I'm happy for what JNEA did get done, but it's not enough to make much of a difference, really. I can't afford to stay in Joplin. It's an awful place to try and teach. No discipline. No supplies. No anything but pressure from admin to get grades or scores up, but don't ask for anything you need. All pressure is on teachers. None on the students. They can show up for one day of seat time and magically make up a whole year of class so they can graduate. Disgusting. Can't blame that on Huff anymore.

Another elementary position was added today. There will be more. Some were hoping for bigger raises and now know that they aren't getting a bigger raise, or better materials, or anything else but more of the same. Thanks, Dr. Ridder and new BoE. You've sure made a difference.
