More than half of the money Seventh District Congressman Billy Long received from individual contributors during the first three months of 2019 came from lobbyists, according to his quarterly financial report filed Monday with the Federal Election Commission.
Long received $28,075 from individual contributors, with at least $18,000 coming from people who are listed with the Lobbyist Spending Database compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics.
The FEC documents indicate that at least $10,600 of the money coming from lobbyists come from those whose clients include the pharmaceutical industry.
In addition to the money individual contributors, gave to Long, the Springfield Republican received $116,500 from political action committees, including $17,000 from pharmaceutical companies and pharmaceutical trade organizations.
Long sits on a committee that deals with issues affecting the pharmaceutical industry.

Thoughts and prayers as always!
Billy looks like he's fixin to have his collar blow out like an overloaded $10 dollar used tire on a hot summer day! Wonder why he can't buy a shirt or two that fits right?
As far as that lobbyist money, where else could Billy get all dat money if the lobbyists stopped being nice and quit spending all dat money on Billy?
FED UP MY ARSE :( FED YES #LIAR
Pretty cheap buy for lobbyists. Where else could you get a fox in a hen house for that price. Wonder what Blunt charges or Hawley to buy their vote to screw Americans. Hell, at that price I wonder what country is buying these votes?
Damn Republicans. On the take from lobbyists. Not like the Democrats who never take a dime from lobbyists.
Remember Sodom and Gomorrah!
Should his new slogan, instead of Fed Up, be Well Fed instead?
I'm wondering if Billy Long will be able to be on the new NASA moon mission.
Does anyone else think he could get through the hatch as he is?
I'm pretty sure Harvey would fit if he accepts that NASA invitation but I'm thinking Billy Long might need a 5 gallon tub of aerospace grade lard to be able to get on board and get that moon mission on. I'm thinking that's for shore if Billy stays all fed up!
If Billy can't do it maybe Harvey and Roy Blunt would make a good pair. Or Harvey and Governor Greitens!
Republicans are fat. And take money from lobbyists. And can't go into space.
Stop whining. Where do people think politicians get all their money? It’s all from some type of self interest.
