Joplin News First live: FBI, local officers descend on home after evidence connected to missing Joplin woman discovered

Joplin News First/Four States Home Page are reporting that a Newton County home where the Joplin Police Department and Newton County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant on a drug case Tuesday and turned up evidence connected to Sarah Burton, who has been missing since July 16.

Home searched by FBI, local law enforcement in Sarah Burton case has Joplin Honkies connection

Shannon Becker is reporting that Trevor Duncan of the Joplin Police Department has confirmed the Sarah Burton connection and that FBI agents have joined local law enforcement officers at the home at 1174 Crane Drive.

Alexius was arrested March 1, 2016 at this house, but he obviously has nothing to do with this case.

I never wrote a word about Alexius being connected to this particular case. He was arrested at this exact location, which does make a connection and obviously it is a home that the Newton County Sheriff's Office has been keeping an eye on for years.

Because he is in prison and has been since late 2016.
