Women in their 50s, 60s are Jasper County's 22nd and 23rd COVID-19 deaths


 The Jasper County Health Department reported the deaths of two people due to COVID-19 today.

According to two news releases issued by the department, both victims were women, one in her 50s, the other in her 60s. Both had been hospitalized prior to their deaths.





Thirty-two coronavirus cases were confirmed in the past 24 hours, following Monday's total of 30. Hospitalizations are down from 15 to 12 and the number of people under isolation increased from 119 to 124.

The statistics do not include the portion of Jasper County located in the Joplin city limits.
