Two more COVID-19 deaths in Joplin bring toll to 40


The Joplin Health Department announced the deaths of two more city residents due to COVID-19 today.

A department news release said the latest victims were a 75-year-old woman and an 87-year-old man. The man was a resident of a long-term care facility.







Joplin has recorded 40 coronavirus deaths.

An additional 23 cases were confirmed, putting Joplin's total at 2,644.
