Probable cause: Pierce City man kidnapped girlfriend with tractor

A Pierce City man is being held without bond in the Lawrence County Detention Center on charges of kidnapping, domestic assault and armed criminal action.

Arraignment for Kevin Dale Lewis, 59, is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Lawrence County Circuit Court.

From the probable cause statement:

Kevin Lewis knowingly kidnapped D. L. by driving his tractor with a bale spike attachment in the side of the Kawasaki Mule she was lawfully operating at their home address.

Kevin Lewis terrorized her by raising the mule she was in with the tractor fully in the air and then drove to a location behind the residence.

Witnesses at the scene stated that he also threatened to shoot her. It should be noted Kevin Lewis was armed with a handgun at the time of the crime.

D. L. and Kevin are in a continuing romantic relationship and reside at this residence together.

The crime, which allegedly occurred Sunday, was investigated by the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.

Kevin Dale Lewis, is a NUT CASE. If you are in any type of an abusive relationship of any kind - GET OUT - RUN - FIND HELP - DO NOT HESITATE.

The bodycam footage of the Kawasaki Mule impaled on a bale spear could be epic.

Someone should let Law and Crime know about this so they can get the video.
