Nexstar stock continues to rise

Nexstar Broadcasting shares, selling for less than four dollars only a few months ago, continued their recent upward incline Friday, increasing 29 cents per share to $10.54.
That put Nexstar, owner of KSNF in Joplin and KSFX in Springfield, and de facto owner of KODE in Joplin and KOLR in Springfield, 30 cents per share above local competitor Saga Communications, which fell one cent from $10.25 to 10.24. The two companies closed at the same price Friday. Saga owns KOAM and KFJX in the Joplin market.
