Wilson's sprinkler bill passes House, receives first reading in Senate

HB 952, which would require group homes to install sprinkler systems, passed the Missouri House Tuesday and received its first reading in the Senate.
The bill, sponsored by Rep. Kevin Wilson, R-Neosho, was filed after the November fire at the Anderson Guest House, in which 11 people were killed. The bill's co-sponsors include Marilyn Ruestman, R-Joplin.
