Congratulations to Mr. Farber. His nomination looks better every day.

Looking at those who voted against him, it's obvious the city slickers and liberals around the university don't think there's intelligent life in the Ozarks. The man they voted against has more intelligence in his little finger than that crowd combined.

Mr. Farber owns many business interests and finanical assets. What is happening here is political backscratching. Remember Abromoff? Well check into all the contract scandals and unethical political histories in this affair.
Mr. Blunt and many policicians in his neck of the woods are into gaining finanically from the personal investment area. They utilize positions to gain personal wealth by investing into an area that they can directly affect the policies of.
Just take a look at the role of Claire McCaskill, she invests in the contract healthcare industry and sits on the Div. of Aging so that she can ignore publica concern in the area of nursing home and health care concerns.
Giving yourself and your personal investments first chair and giving public interest a second seat would get you fired in my world. Someone like the poeple need to stop this and stand up for ethical behavior in Washington. Check into the lawyers that were fired over the corruption investigations in the name of Abromoff, Blunt, and Mollohan. Check prior area republican donators. Phillip Morriss is also old money in this neck of the woods.
