St. Louis-area lobbyist's clients supply all of Emery's funds in latest report


Three clients of powerful St. Louis-area lobbyist John Bardgett accounted for all of the campaign funds raised by Rep. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, according to his April disclosure report, filed Sunday with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
Emery reported $925 in contributions, all coming from the 16141 Swingley Ridge Road, Chesterfield, address of Bardgett's lobbying firm.
On Dec. 11, Emery received $325 contributions from Missouri Association of Nurse Anesthetists and PT-PAC of Missouri. Eleven days later, a $300 contribution came from Bank of America PAC.
Emery had $9,282.72 at the beginning of the reporting period and spent $2,976.83, leaving him with $7,255.89.
