I am not going to print the final results- none of the races were close- but the state representatives who are normally covered in this blog- Steve Hunter, R-Joplin, Marilyn Ruestman, R-Joplin, Kevin Wilson, R-Neosho, and Ed Emery, R-Lamar, all won contested races by wide margins.
The other two area state representatives, Ron Richard, R-Joplin, and the representative from my district, Bryan Stevenson, R-Webb City, won without opposition.

The only reason Wilson and Nodler held their seats is because the little old people and the ones who don't pay attention do what I believe a lot of people do....just mark the same person year after year. It sure isn't because they have done or are doing a great job. Also this is still Republican territory around here.....some haven't paid attention to happenings enough to know we need a change. A change doesn't have to mean Republican or Democrat it just means CHANGE! because these blowhards have hurt us and will continue as long as we allow it! They are their for the businesses, not for the people.
