Globe: Mosbaugh says he estimated voting turnout at 25 percent

Jasper County Clerk Ron Mosbaugh has certainly guaranteed that no one will ever refer to him as an turnout expert with his performance preparing for today's election.
According to a story posted 40 minutes ago on the Globe website, Mosbaugh says he estimated today's turnout at 25 percent:

Do you suppose he failed to take the following things into consideration:

1. The McCaskill-Talent race
2. A school issue in Carl Junction and a tax issue in Joplin
3. The stem cell research and the push from both sides on the issue
4. The minimum wage proposition
5. The battle for Jasper County presiding commissioner between Republican nominee John Bartosh and write-in candidate Danny Hensley.

This is not a shining day for Mosbaugh.
