Former Rep. Lanie Black, R-Charleston, whose district included Mississippi, New Madrid, Scott, and Stoddard counties, will serve as campaign treasurer for Congressman Kenny Hulshof's gubernatorial campaign, according to documents filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission. Hulshof for Governor, Inc. filed committee organization papers today.
Hulshof and Sarah Steelman announced their candidacies for governor after Gov. Matt Blunt announced he would not seek a second term.
