Father Louis Nhien, with the Congregation of the Mother Co-Redemptrix in Carthage, said he let Marian Days worshipers know about the tragic bus accident in Sherman, Texas, during today’s 7:30 a.m. Mass.
Nhien — who said he knew one of the 14 who were killed — asked those gathered to pray for the victims, and announced that each Mass today will be dedicated to them.

My family and I are so very deeply sadden by the news of this accident. The families and victims are in our thoughts, prayers and hearts. We have attended this celebration for fifteen plus years and pray every year that all families and church organizations drive carefully traveling to and from this celebration.
