Former MU quarterback Brock Olivo's introduction to elective politics (and to voting) has been a rough one. Olivo was embarrassed early in his campaign for the Ninth District Congressional seat currently held by Kenny Hulshof, when it was revealed that he had never voted in an election.
Now he has voted for himself, but only 7.7 percent of the electorate joined him with about a quarter of the Ninth District vote counted. Former State Representative Blaine Luetkemeyer is leading at the moment.
Steve Gaw holds a slim lead over Judy Baker on the Democratic side of the ledger.
