Rep. Cynthia Davis, R-O'Fallon, failed to pick up even one penny during the first three weeks of July, according to her eight-day disclosure report, filed today with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
Mrs. Davis reported spending $24,746.24, with most of the money going to a direct mailing. She has $14,385.90 in her account.
Her Second District Senate primary opponent, incumbent Sen. Scott Rupp, on the other hand, has money pouring in, according to his eight-day report. Rupp received $21,580 since the last reporting date and has spent $51,709.51, leaving him with $54,649.27.
Rupp's biggest contributors were Ameren with $2,000, and HCA Good Government Fund and United Health Care Services, Inc, with $1,500 apiece.
