PoliticMo: Long blames Nodler and Goodman's buddies for attack ad

Springfield auctioneer Billy Long is placing the blame on the attack ad that began airing in the Joplin and Springfield markets on "buddies" of his top opponents, Sen. Gary Nodler, R-Joplin, and Sen. Jack Goodman, R-Mount Vernon, according to an article posted today on Eli Yokley's PoliticMo :

Long spokesman Royce Reding says, “It’s false – [a] negative ad that’s paid for by Jack Goodman and Gary Nodler’s buddies in Washington.” He says, “The ad is false on its face. Billy voted for the lowest bid for the contactor – it wasn’t even an earmark – it was a grant.”

Reding says the creators of the ad “either do’t know their facts or they’re lying – either way, it’s just an example of what’s wrong with Washington. In this case its very simple – Billy doesn’t support earmarks, his opponents do. This is what Washington special interests do.”

Redding added “that wasn’t an earmark, it was a grant.”

Wow, really classy, Mr. Billy Long! Blame BOTH of the two other frontrunners. I am sure they worked together on a backroom deal to bring you down Billy. You know that isn't true. Sounds like someone is playing politics.

Sounds like Long doesn't need the Disclose Law after all.

Can't we all just get along?

Long is just setting the stage to go negative. He's wanted an excuse to go TV negative since his campaign cronies started the defeatnodler.com site.

At the Missouri Republican Assembly event, I believe all of the candidates pledged to not go negative. We will soon know if Long is a man of his word, won't we?

Now, some group no one knows anything about does a body slam on Long and his campaign spokesman, with no facts to back him up, points the finger at both Nodler and Goodman.

Bet you a dime to a donut Long goes negative within 24 hours because that is the only way Jeff Row, his political consultant, knows how to campaign.

If I were a part of the Goodman, Wisdom, Nodler, Hunter, Moon, Wardell, or Moore campaigns, I would simply say.....

....."Bring it on fat boy!!!"

Billy, don't you know that when you point a finger at someone, there's three more pointing back at you?!
