Big business interests back Bill White in 129th

Two major business lobbying groups, Missouri Chamber and Associated Industries of Missouri, have endorsed Bill White for 129th District state representative. From the news release:

William “Bill” White of Joplin, a Republican candidate for Missouri State Representative (129th District), is being endorsed by two key Missouri business organizations — the Missouri Chamber PAC and the Associated Industries of Missouri (AIM) PAC. Both endorsements reflect White’s commitment to providing a business-friendly climate for all Missouri companies.
In a letter to White from the Missouri Chamber PAC, Daniel Mehan writes, “After reviewing the qualifications and positions of the candidates in this race, we have concluded that you are the pro-business candidate that voters can enthusiastically support. Your stance shows that you would have a positive impact in Missouri’s legislature to maintain and improve the business climate in our state.”
“I’m pleased to receive endorsements from both of these business organizations,” White said. “We must create an environment where new businesses will relocate to Missouri, and where existing businesses can expand. I pledge to fight for a climate that allows businesses of all sizes to grow and to provide good jobs for all Missourians.”
