FEC report: Not much shaking in Wisdom campaign

At first glance, $1,448.22 in contributions during July doesn't sound too bad for a second-tier Seventh District Congressional candidate like Jeff Wisdom.

However, all but $338.86 of that money has been spent, according to Wisdom's Pre-Primary report filed with the FEC- and nearly all of that money was provided by Wisdom and a student.

The FEC filing shows Wisdom provided $1,172.75 described as "in-kind" for dining, mileage, candy for parades and "marketplace copy/fliers."

Student Linda Coreleuski provided $242.55 in in-kind mileage, according to the report.

Give it up Jeff and endorse Moore

You want him to go endorse the OTHER weak candidate that can't raise money?

Moore will not win, and if Jeff dropped out he's said he would endorse Goodman, the next congressman.

Keep fighting Jeff. You have learned a lot and have been a real gentleman.

I believe you actually respect all of the candidates in this race with you.

If you don't, at least you've got the good sense to keep it to yourself.

Thanks so much for the encouragement! We have certainly learned a great deal and have come a long way since April 2009. We are keeping the faith and will continue the fight.

Mr. Turner, the Wisdom for Congress Committee would like to set the record straight on our Pre-Primary Report. There were several individuals who donated to the campaign during the 7/1-7/14 time period. All of our donors have been individuals, a point for which we are proud. You provided only one donor name. We will provide a press release with the number of individual donors and amounts on Friday, July 23, at which point, we would respectfully ask that you update the story on your blog. Our campaign has never focused on the money. We have tried to earn votes the grassroots way. Money is not always king in our book. Thanks for your time!

Does the "number of individuals" compare to Goodman's 300+ NEW donors this last quarter?
