Speaker, PACs contribute $8,875 to Rupp campaign

Second District Senator Scott Rupp received another $8,875 in campaign contributions today, according to 48-hour reports filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission.

The biggest contribution, $5,000, came from Speaker of the House Ron Richard, R-Joplin, who is unopposed in both the primary and general elections for 32nd District Senate.

Rupp also received $675 from Heal PAC, $700 from UPS PAC, $500 from Advance America, and $2,000 from Long Term Care Leadership PAC, according to the filings.

Rupp is opposed in the GOP primary by Rep. Cynthia Davis, R-O'Fallon.
