An attack ad launched earlier today by Billy Long, targeting Seventh District Congressional opponents Gary Nodler and Jack Goodman, has been taken offline with the message "This video has been removed by the user."
The ad blamed supporters of Nodler and Goodman for the Americans for Job Security attack ad issued Monday against Long and criticized the senators' records.

Which might be relevant if "supporters of Nodler and Goodman" were running for Congress in the 7th District. Besides, would Jabba the Hat like to announce publicly that he's willing to vouch for every last one of his supporters and how they decide to spend thier money or what they choose to say? Five minutes of listening to KWTO in the morning suggests he wouldn't.
It's fair to say that the anti-Long ad was yanked as well. The real question, when will it be put back up?

It has become obvious to the Long campaign that both Nodler and Goodman are beating him. Soundly!
Long polled on Monday and Tuesday this week and wa-la, here is an attack ad against both Nodler and Goodman.
I can now rest easier each night knowing that either Nodler or Goodman will be in Congress. I won't wake up in cold sweats wondering about the pristine image of the Ozarks being wizzed on by Sarah's BFF, Billy.

Interesting that no one has yet to truly identify the backers of the the Americans for Job Security (though everyone is SURE it's not Nodler or Goodman ... how they are sure who knows?!?!?). And then the story goes that Billy responded with a negative ad and pulled it? Can someone please verify that it wasn't the same backers of Americans for Job Security playing both sides ... to get their way? The ignorance of some readers is shameful to not at least consider all of the options.
These stories are about games ... which is politics. Businessman deal in facts. Which is why I'm not surprised that Long has not jumped back in reaction to any of this. No more games ... we have enough of that already in Washington. It's time to take care of business and run this country based on facts.

Facts? You want facts? You can't handle the facts! But, here's a go-at-it anyway.
1. Billy polled Republican voters in the last few days.
2. A negative ad paid for by Long previewed yesterday on YouTube.
3. The YouTube video was taken down today.
4. Today, the exact, same negative ad paid for by Long and attacking Nodler and Goodman is now up on broadcast TV in the Joplin and Springfield media markets on KOAM and KY3.
5. Media buys are at least $44,000 by the AJS group attacking Long.
6. By falsley attacking Nodler and Goodman as being responsible for the AJS paid for ad, Long has gone right to the gutter.
7. August 3 is the 'fact' day for you to vote for Long if you want his type of 'business' representing you in Congress.
Now we learn from PoliticMo that the reason Long knew about the "$100 million tax break" he wails about in his ad is because his campaign consultant, James Harris, LOBBIED FOR IT! Billy can't even get negative campaigning right.
Now it's back on.
Everyone knows when you're behind...go negative.
