Ray Stevens to perform at Branson Tea Party

Veteran entertainer Ray Stevens will highlight a Branson Tea Party rally Saturday, October 23. From the news release:

The Branson Tea Party Coalition is pleased to host a “Pre-Election Pink Slip Rally and Concert” on October 23, 2010 with headliner Ray Stevens taking to the stage to perform his patriotic hits “We the People” and “Throw the Bums Out”, which have been hailed as the anthems of the American Tea Party Movement.

Eric Farris, Director of the Branson Tea Party Coalition says: “We are thrilled to be joined by Grammy winning recording artist and tea party supporter Ray Stevens as we get ready to take back America at the ballot box on November 2nd. This Rally and Concert will help generate enthusiasm 10 days before the election to encourage voters to give a “Pink Slip” to any politician, regardless of party, who has forgotten that they answer to the citizens.”

Everyone who agrees that our government officials are out of control are invited to share in inspirational speeches, entertainment, food, information, live music and to exercise our rights of free speech and assembly. The event is free and open to the public, all ages are welcome and this is a family friendly event.

The Rally and Concert will be held at the Tri-Lakes Center (formerly known as the Mel Tillis Theatre) at 2527 State Highway 248 in Branson, Missouri. A roadside demonstration will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the main event will run from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m.

Join us at 10:30 a.m. for the roadside demonstration which will be held on Highway 248 in the area stretching from the Highway 248/Gretna intersection all the way to Tri-Lakes Center. You are encouraged to bring your signs with messages of your concerns regarding the outrageous and questionable actions of our elected leaders. (Note: keep the messages civil, sincere, and appropriate for public viewing.)

Starting at 12:00 noon, the Rally and Concert will feature several informative speakers and entertainers from the stages of Branson’s live music theaters. The dynamic lineup of speakers will be informative and will motivate all in attendance to action!

This sounds like Branson. The home of the Right Wing Nuts. A dangerous no nothing bunch.

They are not in favor of anything, just against. Keep in mind their main Agenda of the Tea Party folks is to dismantle Social Security, and any other program that help people.

If these people get elected, then people deserve exactly what they get.

So, standby for news. They most likely will win and everyone else will lose.

From what I'm hearing, Ray Stevens is anti-American in the show in Branson.
What a shame that our country has come to this.
