WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED... LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK. LIMITED ICE ACCUMULATION RISK. DISCUSSION... AREAS OF FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL PERSIST THROUGH MID MORNING... ESPECIALLY ALONG AND WEST OF A LINE FROM JOPLIN TO EL DORADO SPRINGS. A THIN GLAZE OF ICE ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE AND MAY AFFECT AREA ROADWAYS...PARTICULARLY BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI. THE MAIN HAZARD WITH ANY THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING STRIKES. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. A FEW EMBEDDED RUMBLES OF THUNDER WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE INTO SATURDAY MORNING ACROSS SOUTHERN MISSOURI...WITH SOME LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL ALSO POSSIBLE. LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND TOWARDS THE NEVADA AREA EARLY SATURDAY. ONLY A GLAZE TO LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH OF ACCUMULATING ICE IS POSSIBLE. LIGHT SNOW IS THEN EXPECTED TO DEVELOP SATURDAY EVENING INTO EARLY SUNDAY MORNING WITH THE BEST CHANCES ACROSS THE WESTERN AND NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA. WIND CHILL VALUES IN THE SINGLE DIGITS TO SINGLE DIGITS BELOW ZERO WILL OCCUR SUNDAY MORNING. WINDS WILL BE BREEZY FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH AT TIMES.
