Webb City teachers receive two percent pay increase, plus step

The top paying school district in southwest Missouri will remain that way with its teachers and support workers all receiving pay increases.

The R-7 Board of Education voted last week to give two percent salary increases to 325 teachers and 355 uncertified employees, with all employees receiving a step increase.

Thanks to the board's action, some Webb City teachers will receive pay hikes of as much as six percent.
