A Joplin man is being held without bond in the Greene County Jail after being arrested on a federal meth trafficking charge Monday.
According to the probable cause affidavit, investigators with the Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team suspected that packages containing methamphetamine were being shipped by U S. Postal Service from California to Christopher L. Meister, 41, at a residence on West Belle Centre Road in Joplin.
Working with a postal inspector, investigators used a Joplin Police Department K-9 to sniff the latest package when it arrived Monday and when the dog detected narcotics, investigators obtained a search warrant.

After a postal inspector delivered the package to Meister and he accepted it, the Jasper County SWAT team descended upon the house and executed the search warrant, which unearthed not only drugs, but also an assault rifle, other weapons and a large amount of different kinds of ammunition.
Inside the package were 10 smaller, cellophane wrapped packages containing 4,798 grams or approximately 10 pounds of methamphetamine.

It’s the liberals fault we have all these criminals. President Trump wants to protect us. Build that wall.

Wow that's a good little lick there. Glad it's off the streets.
