Barton County Health Department warns of possible COVID-19 exposure at Memorial Hall in Lamar

If you were in the Memorial Hall in Lamar on August 27, 2020 between the hours of 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, you may have come in contact with an undiagnosed COVID-19 case. 

Your risk of contracting COVID-19 is very low, however you should monitor for the symptoms below through September 10, 2020:

Fever > 100.4 or feeling feverish
Chills
Rigors
Muscle aches
Runny nose







Sore throat
New changes in taste or smell
Headache
Fatigue
Cough – new or worsening of chronic cough
Wheezing
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Chest pain
Nausea or vomiting
Abdominal pain
Diarrhea (> 3 loose stools/24 hr. period)
Other symptoms that concern you

If you have any of the following signs, get emergency medical care immediately:
• Trouble breathing
• Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
• New confusion
• Inability to wake or stay awake
• Bluish lips or face

This list is not all possible symptoms. Please call your healthcare provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning to you.
