Missouri should reach 100,000 COVID-19 cases this weekend, 18 deaths reported

Barring an unexpected complete reversal of recent patterns, the state of Missouri should pass 100,000 COVID-19 cases this weekend.

An additional 1,116 cases were added today, bringing the state's total to 97,591, according to statistics released by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

Eighteen deaths were reported. Missouri has recorded 1,691 deaths.

The percentage of positive coronavirus cases dropped from 13.8 to 12.7.
