Constituents in Missouri's Eighth Congressional District must be swelling with pride as their Congressman, Jason Smith, exhibiting the revolutionary attitude shown by our Founding Fathers, demanded that British royalty stop insulting President Trump.
Less than a half hour ago, Smith, proudly posted a tweet in which he boasted to his constituents about a strongly-worded letter he sent to the British Government:
Prince Harry and Megan Markle are using foreign titles to campaign against President Trump and interfere with our election. Today, I asked the British Government to put a stop to it.
So this is the big scandal.
It's not Russia that is interfering with our election.
Jason Smith, doing the job Eighth District voters elected him to do, uncovered a scheme by two members of British royalty to disrupt our political process.
Smith, knowing that this is the type of activity his out-of-work constituents and those whose families have lost members to COVID-19 or are suffering from its consequences wants him to pursue has put himself on the front line defending this latest British attempt to exact revenge for the Revolutionary War.
