Josh Hawley: The Democrats may take over the Senate- Send me money

Republicans, including our own Sen. Josh Hawley, fear they are about to become the minority in the Senate.

Hawley is so concerned, he sent out an e-mail this morning begging his supporters to send him money and help preserve the GOP majority.

What Hawley doesn't explain in the e-mail is how sending him money will do anything to help his Republican colleagues since his election doesn't take place for another four years.

The text of the e-mail is printed below (with the links for donating removed to help anyone who might be fooled into believing that money in Josh Hawley's account is going to keep the Senate in the hands of the Republicans).

This past month, liberals in the Senate fought tooth and nail to prevent an incredibly qualified person from becoming the next U.S. Supreme Court Justice. They attacked her from all angles. Some Senators went as far as posing a religious test for her Catholic faith. Senate liberals also showed the utmost disrespect when they decided to boycott the Committee vote.

We CANNOT afford to lose the Senate to the liberals this November. This is why my team set a fundraising goal of $10,000 before the end of this month. If we go all in and commit to victory, we will have a shot at keeping the Senate RED.

Commit to Victory

If we lose the Senate, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer will begin the process of passing legislation that tears down our religious freedom, allows abortion on-demand, raises taxes, and curtails the Second Amendment.

Other initiatives such as the Green New Deal, amnesty for illegal immigrants, defense budget cuts, and abolishing ICE will no longer be lofty goals - they will become a reality!

Our country’s future is at stake this election year.

Do we want our country’s future to be socialist?

We can only prevent it if we work together. Please show your support and help us meet our fundraising goal.

Sure, here is a penny for your thoughts. Oops, that is overpaying for one of the most vacant thought in this world, but par for this party. How sad that it just keeps going on in what was at one time a halfway decent party of honorable people.
