Joplin reports 36th COVID-19 death, 11 deaths this month

 

The Joplin Health Department reported the city's 36th COVID-19 death today.

The victim was a 92-year-old woman who was a resident in a Joplin long-term care facility, according to a Health Department news release.







The city has recorded 11 coronavirus deaths during October.

The city's COVID-19 dashboard showed 13 new cases today, with 179 people in isolation.

The city's hospitals are treating 65 COVID-19 patients with 31 of them Joplin residents.
