Six Carl Junction students, one staff member test positive for COVID-19, 67 students under quarantine


Six Carl Junction R-1 students were in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19, according to statistics posted on the district website Wednesday,

Two of the students were in grades 2-3, two at the high school and one apiece at the junior high and the alternative school.

One high school staff member tested positive.







Two staff members, one at the junior high and one at the high school are under quarantine, as well as 67 students from the following buildings:

Junior High 19
Intermediate 18
K-1 10
High School 9
2-3  8
Pre-K  2
Alternative 1

The number of students testing positive was double the three posted the previous week, while the number who are under quarantine is down from last week's 71.
