Joplin reports 23 new COVID-19 cases, another record high for hospitalized residents

 

The Joplin Health Department confirmed 23 new COVID-19 cases Monday, according to statistics posted this morning on the city's COVID-19 dashboard.

The total number of cases to date is 1,851.







The number of people who are under quarantine increased from 273 to 278, while the number of city residents hospitalized reached a record high of 32.

Mercy and Freeman hospitals report 83 coronavirus patients down from 89 the previous day.

Joplin has recorded 33 deaths due to COVID-19.
