Naked Joplin woman charged with sexual misconduct, property damage

The Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office filed misdemeanor sexual misconduct and felony property damage charges today against Dayshaya Destiny Walker (DOB 2002), Joplin, after she allegedly caused considerable damage at a residence at 3012 E. 11th Street.

Walker is being held in the Joplin City Jail with bond set at $25,000 cash or surety.

Prior to arrival, dispatch advised a white male completely naked was destroying property at the
residence in an attempt to possibly enter the residence.

Upon arrival, I checked the area and did not locate the male. I spoke to resident V1 who advised she woke up to loud banging coming from around the residence. V1 looked out the back screen door of the residence and witnessed a white male or female completely naked in the backyard destroying property.

V1 opened the door and yelled, "Get the f--k out of my yard." The subject jumped over the back fence and ran southwest. V1 explained she wished to pursue charges if the subject was found for sexual misconduct due to clearly witnessing the subject completely naked.

V1 showed me several areas of damage around the residence when I heard another neighbor from the
area yell that the subject was climbing on top of a building to the south of the residence near Raising
Canes (1237 S Rangeline Rd).

I drove to Raising Canes and located a white female completely naked digging in a dumpster behind Missouri Title Loans (1225 S Rangeline Rd). I began to get out of my fully marked patrol car when I made eye contact with the female. The female then ran to the northwest. of Phillips 66 (1201 S Rangeline Rd) out of sight.

I got back into my fully marked patrol car. Officer Larkin and I located the female on the east side of Phillips 66 in a fenced in area.

Other Officers responded and the female was taken into custody without incident. The female identified
herself as Dayshaya Walker. Officer Larkin transported Dayshaya to the Joplin City Jail. I responded
back to 3012 E 11th and resumed speaking with V1.

V1 then explained the residence is owned by their sister V2. I spoke to V2 over the phone. V2 explained
the damage to the residence which included carpet on the front porch ripped up, the down spout next
to the back door pulled off, the mesh screen on the back door, and damage to a vent leading to the
crawl space of the residence would cost roughly $2500 to fix. V2 stated they wished to pursue charges
against Dayshaya for Property Damage 1st Degree.

Dayshaya Walker was arrested for Property Damage 1st Degree

Dayshaya Destiny Walker, was definitely high on something for the property destruction charge, with a $25,000 Bond, while some guy in McDonald County takes 2-gun shots at his brother trying to kill him and only has a $5,000 Bond - how can our justice system be so far apart?
