Globe: State officials deserve scrutiny for Guest House tragedy

Today's Joplin Globe features an editorial decrying the job done by state officials in overseeing operations such as that of the Anderson Guest House, where a fire killed 10 almost three weeks ago.

The Globe editorial is right on the mark with its assessments, such as:

Officials with the state departments of Mental Health and Health and Senior Services say it is clear there was a breakdown between inspectors in the field and the system that tracks who is supposed to be running these homes.
That is an understatement to say the least.

Ever notice that crap runs downhill. That is what is happening here. People at the very top (making the most money to oversee things) blaming the lowest paid workers.....it's always their fault.
Not Wilson or Blunt's....has to be someone else's. They are both to busy trying to take Medicaid away from the poor instead of working with the doctors and hospitals to fight the fraud and save money that way. Morons.
