That decision was made today by Judge Gregory Stremel in McDonald County Circuit Court.
Ms. Epling becomes the third member of the alleged religious cult to be ordered to stand trial, following Rev. Raymond Lambert and Patricia Epling Lambert. During the Lambert's preliminary hearing in October, the alleged victim, who was underaged at the time, testified of Mrs. Epling's involvement in the sex ritual:
The woman testified that on one occasion Laura Epling walked in while she was performing oral sex on the pastor and showed the teenager how to do so, then had intercourse with Lambert while the teen watched.
