Another excellent play at Stone's Throw

It was the first time I have ever seen him act, but Carthage Police Officer Kevin Provins, who was the Carthage R-9 DARE officer when I was at The Carthage Press, offered a strong performance as the sheriff in Stone's Throw Community Dinner Theatre's production of the William Inge classic "Bus Stop."

Despite his casting as a law enforcement officer, I doubt if Provins gets typecast. This is his second Stone's Throw performance.

The strong cast also includes my former student at South, Cheyla Navarre, who plays the role of Elma.
