The double-barreled attack by Margaret Donnelly and Jeff Harris on Chris Koster in the race for the Democratic nomination for attorney general has not paid off through the early counting, but there are a lot of votes remaining to be counted.
With 481 out of 3,315 precincts reporting, Koster has 34.9 percent to 29.2 percent for Ms. Donnelly and 27.3 percent for Koster. Molly Williams has eight percent, and as some had speculated earlier, his presence in the race...a presence which no one has been able to explain, could wind up being a key factor if Koster pulls out the win.
