Matt Blunt still has $318,000 in campaign account

As far as we know, he is not running for anything and has no plans to, but former Gov. Matt Blunt still has $318,787.71 in his campaign account, according to his quarterly disclosure form, filed today with the Missouri Ethics Commission.

Blunt spent $5,478.35, with the largest expenditures being  $1,000 contributions to New Hampshire gubernatorial candidate John Stephen and Cole County Circuit Court judge candidate Terry Jarrett. He also gave $500 to his father, Roy Blunt's U. S. Senate campaign, $500 to the Congressional campaign of his former chief of staff Ed Martin, and $500 to the Layman for Education committee, formed for a race for Ozark Technical College Board.

Blunt's report shows the committee received $212.62 in interest during the quarter.

In more fun of campaign finance reports today, has anyone heard an answer to the question of whether one of Sen. Bray's staffers was working on Barbara Fraser's campaign on the state's dime or using the state's resources?
