Ashcroft completes tour of all 114 Missouri counties

(From Ashcroft for Missouri)

Jay Ashcroft, R-St. Louis, today, announced that since starting his campaign for Missouri Secretary of State in February, he has visited each of Missouri’s 114 counties and the city of St. Louis during his travels across Missouri.

“Since announcing my campaign, my family and I have been campaigning tirelessly in all corners of the state,” Ashcroft said. “Today, I am proud to announce that I have visited each of Missouri’s 114 counties throughout this campaign and I will continue working to meet as many Missourians as I can between now and Election Day.”

Ashcroft has been traveling the state visiting local elected officials, Republican clubs, conservative groups, and civic organizations discussing his support for a photo voter ID law in Missouri.

“As I have traveled the state, I am encouraged by the support that, not only our campaign has received, but the support for our common sense effort to implement a photo voter ID law and our vision for Missouri,” Ashcroft continued. “Missourians are sick and tired of politicians talking about passing a voter ID law and are ready for a Secretary of State who will stand up to the liberals and make this common sense idea the law of our state.”

Ashcroft lives in St. Louis along with his wife Katie and their four children. He is the son of Janet and former United States Attorney General John Ashcroft.

His father was a tyrant! Power hungry madman. Voter I.D. is a solution to a problem that does not exist. Liberal is not a bad word, we are proud people. Loving and caring people, the opposite of the Ashcroft clan.
