I was wrong- Claire McCaskill loses- Josh Hawley by a big margin

As I write these words, Claire McCaskill is giving her concession speech.

Attorney General Josh Hawley will be the new U. S. Senator come January.

I never would have believed it.

The next thing you will be telling me is that Nancy Pelosi is going to be Speaker of the House.

I will also amend my earlier post to reflect that I should have stuck with reporting and commentary and left the poor punditry to those who do poor punditry better.

That's one thing I like about you, Randy. You're willing to fess up when you make a mistake. I've never seen one of your anonymous critics do that (maybe they think they've never been wrong about anything).

One of those times when you should have used the term, "I think". 10 Reasons Why I Think Clair McCaskill Will Beat Josh Hawley. That doesn't make you seem like a know-it- all idiot, but someone with an informed opinion.

Special note to Steve Holmes, et al

You refer to Randy’s anonymous bloggers ( which as you probably know I despise); how could anyone ever expect them to fess up— no one knows who they are. They’re under the cover of darkness, just like a thief in the night.

It's amazing that you were looking at the election through blue colored glasses and didn't see the big picture. If you'd have just talk to a few people outside of your little blue circle, you would have known Claire was in trouble, for several reasons. Claire McCaskill came up with lame excuses for not confirming Trump nominees. She wanted to vote with her party, but didn't want to be seen with them. She didn't care that a majority of Missourians thought Kavanaugh was being falsely accussed. She picked a term that she thought would work in Missouri, his previous rulings on Dark Money. Like she didn't have any......Pahleeeeeassse

Then in the final moments, she became a poser, as she always does in the last year of her term. The fact that she was agreeing with Trump, and his border policies. Trump voters were not fooled whatsoever.

Then she says "I'm not one of those crazy democrats". Again, posing. I will say this about Jason Candor, he came close to Roy Blunt by openly embracing democratic policies, while supporting the second amendment. He didn't try to hide the fact that he was a democrat, like Chris Coster or Claire.

This blue wave was significant enough to flip the house, which should make for a very interesting 2020. But keep in mind, the Republicans will only need to pick up 12 seats to make the House Red again. So calling it a Blue Wave, not so much.

Anonymous. Just like voters...

Harv, your obsessive dislike of anonymous posters boarders on a mental illness.

Your observation that my concern with anonymous bloggers is extremely passionate is correct!! And that’s because by definition they are lying and hiding. A vote is confidential; but it’s not stating or developing a policy or position; simply confirming our selection of a candidate or issue, which is an inherent right, and confirmed by US and state constitutions,

BTW, off the subject, the US turn out is dead last world wide, and many times less than 50% of REGISTERED voters.
We need to register more legitimate voters, an d tur them on Election Day at the 85% level.

Because they choose to be anonymous they are lying? Honestly, by stretching your obsession far enough to make that statement I am now positive that you have a mental illness.
Anyone posting here is simply confirming an opinion which is also an inherent right. Your argument defending your illness makes no sense.
Here is something that will blow your mind... if I made an account that had the name Bob Smith on it and was filled with all kinds of personal info, it doesnt mean I am Bob Smith. So in essence, all posts on here could be anonymous.

The voting is anonymous so people can express themselves without intimidation. Voters do effect changes, our recent vote on marijuana is just one example. I enjoy reading anonymous posts because it is most likely how the person really feels. It’s not hard to tell the difference between those who are serious and those being idiots.
