Jasper County Circuit Court Judge Gayle Crane issued a warrant for Ace Mohr's arrest after he failed to show for a hearing on a felony assault charge. Crane set bond for Mohr, 25, Carthage, at 25,000 cash or surety.
Circuit Court Judge David Mouton issued a warrant for Mohr's arrest and set bond at $60,000 after he failed to show for a probation violation hearing. A bond forfeiture hearing has been scheduled for December 3.
Mohr's no shows came just 25 days after Judge Joseph Hensley reduced his bond from $30,000 cash only and Mohr was freed on his own recognizance.
Mohr's alleged assault took place while he was already on probation for multiple felonies
Mouton had suspended Mohr's probation, but did not revoke it.
Mouton sentenced Mohr to five years in prison March 5, then suspended the sentence and placed him on probation for five years after Mohr pleaded guilty to felony charges of receiving stolen property and possession of heroin with intent to distribute.
As part of his plea agreement, multiple felony charges, including possession of methamphetamine and cocaine, were dropped.
The Carthage Police Department arrested Mohr August 18. The probable cause statement says Mohr "pushed (the victim's) face into a wall causing (the victim's) upper lip to break and bleeding to occur.
"Ace then locked (the victim) in the bathroom, taunting (the victim) to kill (redacted). He then shoved (the victim's) face into broken glass on the floor causing a laceration on the forehead and serious bleeding to occur."
The victim was able to break away from Mohr, according to the statement and 911 was contacted.

The only reason there was a failure to appear was a full blown mess up on the courts the October 29th court date changed to the fifteenth I have documentation to prove that and when I was in court the 15th Mouton didn't show up for court and they changed the next date to November 29th so please me randy Turner I would appreciate it if you would stop trying to run my name in the ground because honestly what good is it doing you.? Yeah, right Ace. Your record is far too long and extensive for you entertain the idea that you deserve to have any slack cut. Your victims deserve justice. Justice for your crimes should be a very long jail sentence. We,the public, deserve protection from criminals like you and your ilk.
It's being suggested that Mohr is an informant. I can't help being reminded of Whitey Bulger. Notorious criminal and FBI stooge. Could this also be the case with Mr. Mohr? Sure looks like it.
It's not slander if he's telling the truth. Mr. Turner is only reporting facts that are in the public record. The only one who looks pathetic is you Mr. Mohr. Pathetic and a danger to society. You should be in jail, not walking our streets.
