Missouri reports 1,397 new COVID-19 cases, three deaths

(Missouri added 1,397 COVID-19 cases to its count today, bringing it to 88,610, according to statistics released this afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

Three deaths were reported, putting the state's coronavirus toll at 1,545.

The number of people who are hospitalized is 890, while the percentage of people whose tests return positive remained high at 12.9 percent.
