Forty COVID-19 cases confirmed in Joplin, number of patients at local hospitals down

Forty COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Joplin in the last 48 hours, according to statistics posted this morning on the city's COVID-19 dashboard.

The city has had 1,449 cases, with 144 active, down from 146 two days ago.







The number of people who are under quarantine decreased from 362 to 349.

The number of Joplin residents hospitalized fell from 25 to 24, while the number of COVID-19 patients at Freeman and Mercy hospitals, which reached a record 67 earlier this week is now at 54.
