A Carthage woman stabbed her boyfriend with her car keys and bit her 2-year-old son, according to a probable cause statement filed today in Jasper County Circuit Court.
Raelynn Nicole Parks (DOB 2004) was charged with two counts of domestic assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child. Bond was set at $30,000 cash or surety.
The allegations against Parks were detailed in the probable cause statement:
On 09/14/2025 at approximately 7:37 P.M., Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 800 block of S. McGregor St. for a Disturbance in progressVictim 1 advised his girlfriend, Raelynn Parks, had not been properly supervising their 2-year-old child and he had located the child with a lighter in his mouth.
Victim 1 confronted Parks about the incident and she started grabbing and hitting him on his neck. There were red marks and scratches on Victim l's neck, chest, head and stomach. He advised she stabbed him with car keys leaving a red scratch on his stomach.
Parks bit the 2-year-old's upper left arm when Victim 1 attempted to hold him due to him crying. There was a large red circular mark to his arm that appeared to be turning purple. Parks admitted to biting the child. She also admitted the marks on Victim l may have been from them being in a "Tussle." Parks later advised the incident occurred because she was in a manic episode.
The case was investigated by the Carthage Police Department.

Again, Raelynn Nicole Parks, another crazy "Karen", off her meds. Keep her in the Looney Bin. No Child should be treated that way or abused - hopefully he has loving relatives to take the Child away from this Swamp Monster Mother.
Waylon is very loved. Raelynn was getting her ass beat by Trevon and in the tussel Waylon got hurt. This is a very one sided report. Your right she is off her meds.

thats a crock and you know it , trying to cover up what she did to protect her but not protect Waylon are you insane. she admitted to doing it.

Waylon is very very loved but you don’t bite or harm the baby you birth manic episode or not.
You know that’s not true. How would that even happen? They were tussling & he ended up with a bite mark on him?
And to top everything off, Raelynns sidepeice Emma is making this situation worse.
She was employed as a caregiver at a local nursing home. I hope to God she didn’t have any “manic episodes” at work!
Randy, do they do background checks on people who work with the elderly like they do for people working with kids? If not, they should! Caregivers are not compensated nearly enough for all they do so I know it is hard to keep staff, but I do hope they don’t let her go back to work with some of our most vulnerable citizens!
