Sources: Hieger promoted to KODE anchor position
I haven't received any official confirmation, but e-mails from two Nexstar employees claim KSNF weekend anchor Lauren Hieger, seen live from the Joplin Parade scene during today's 6 p.m. news, may be about to make her last appearance for KSN.
The e-mails indicate Miss Hieger, who has been a cut above the usual weekend anchor during her time on Channel 16, will soon be working alongside Brian Hamman on the KODE 5, 6 and 10 p.m. news.
During her time at KSN, Ms. Hieger has filed one solid story after another, in addition to her anchoring job. Ms. Hieger is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism and is a native of St. Louis.
If my informants are accurate, Nexstar officials have made a solid selection.

She is already more engaging and intelligent than a certain KSN weekday 5,6, and 10 female anchor.
I thought the anchor job at KODE was going to Shannon Pommert.
