Missourians United for Life endorses Nodler

Sen. Gary Nodler, R-Joplin, has become the second Seventh Congressional District candidate to announce an endorsement from Missourians United for Life. A news released was issued Wednesday by the campaign of Sen. Jack Goodman, R-Mount Vernon:

State Senator Gary Nodler, a candidate for the U.S. House in Missouri's 7th Congressional District, has received the Missourians United For Life endorsement for his service in the Missouri General Assembly and for his work on issues involving the sanctity of life.

Senator Nodler’s endorsement carried with it the (SD) designation as someone who has ‘Served with Distinction’ in a public capacity in support of life issues.

Nodler has a 100% pro-life voting record and has earned the respect and support of pro-life leaders throughout Missouri.

Missourians United for Life (MUL) is a statewide, nonpartisan organization that opposes abortion, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, and other attacks on life. MUL also especially opposes abortion providers like Planned Parenthood as they seek tax dollars and access to our schools and government social service providers.

Nodler said “I am honored to have been endorsed by the Pro-Life organization that has been totally consistent in the fight against abortion and cloning and supportive of those legislators that have been in the trenches fighting for the rights of the unborn”.

Perhaps it would have been better if Nodler had simply graciously accepted the organization's endorsement instead of using his statement to take another swipe at Missouri Right to Life, which endorsed Springfield auctioneer Billy Long.

Mr. Plemmons

It appears that you read this blog on a regular basis.

How do you answer to these challenges and apparent facts, to the philosophy of your organization?

It truly appears that we who are most interested in right to life, stem cell and cloning issues can now rally around Missourians United for Life. This has been a real eye opener to our congregation and conference.
